Minor AA/AAA Pitcher Training and Certification

MNLL pitcher certification confirms player, coach and parent understanding of basic mechanics of pitching along with basic drills identified in the MNLL Player Development Guide.  The goal is to help avoid arm injuries for young pitchers and to boost the quality of play, which in turn boosts the enjoyment of the game for all players on the field.

March Dates:

  • 3/17 & 3/19, 7-8pm, Frelinghuysen New Gym

  • 3/24 & 3/26, 7-8pm, Frelinghuysen Old Gym

April Dates:

  • 4/14 & 4/16, 7-8pm, Frelinghuysen Old Gym

  • 4/21 & 4/23, 7-8pm, Frelinghuysen Old Gym

All sessions are walk-in and players are expected to attend a minimum of two sessions (don’t need to be consecutive) prior to gaining their MNLL certification.  Certification will not be required to pitch this year, but will be highly encouraged for any AA/AAA players who would like to pitch.  Coaches and Parents are also encouraged to attend to be able to reinforce proper basic pitching mechanics on the field.
